Monday July 6, 2015Nicole is stunned when she runs into Xander at the hospital. She demands to know why he isn't in jail. A protective Daniel rushes in and attacks him. Anne calls in security to intervene, and Xander plays up his innocent act. He claims Nicole and Eric must've been confused about who tried to kill them. Anne tries to get Xander to press charges against Daniel, to no avail. Later, Daniel and Nicole meet with Aiden who has spoken with the police and gives them an update on the situation. Daniel then takes a shaken Nicole home, where she has a flash to almost making love to Eric. Daniel wonders what's wrong, and Nicole is tempted to tell all. Eric is livid when Serena tells him Xander has been set free. Eric argues Xander would be in jail if Serena had just come clean regarding the diamond smuggling. Serena relays what Xander said - she has no proof. Eric storms off to meet with Xander. Eric rips into him but Xander coolly maintains his innocence. Eric then goes to Serena, asking her to prove she is willing to do anything to help. Roman gives Marlena the upsetting news about Xander. Later, she runs into Hope, who decides to speak to Victor to see if he knows anything that can help put his nephew away. Earlier, Rafe interrupts Hope and Aiden's argument about Clyde. Hope confides in Rafe, who realizes Victor may have previously put a hit out on Clyde - and that's why Clyde had Sonny stabbed. Rafe then puts a stop to their conversation, reminding Hope it's best for everyone if they stop digging. Later, Rafe stops Clyde from running into Hope, not wanting to give Weston any reason to be suspicious. Paige makes plans with a man online, then goes to the lake, where she sees JJ speaking with Kyle. (Kyle unsuccessfully tries again to recruit JJ as a dealer, which is observed by the unknown man.) She decides to stir things up by flirting with Kyle. JJ sees and is completely jealous. When a guy bumps into him, JJ is quick to start a fight. Tuesday July 7, 2015Roman and Special Agent Watts try to recruit JJ to go undercover to figure out who's behind the influx of drugs in Salem. JJ refuses - he's not interested in helping or doing the right thing. Paige executes her plan to scam her mother - she meets up with an older man, Donald, and has Daphne alert her mom. Eve comes rushing over and gets Donald alone. She pleads with him to stay away from her daughter, and when he hints at pimping Paige out, Eve flips. Donald says he'll leave Paige alone if Eve gives him $10,000. Eve hawks her ring and gives him the cash - only to find out he's in cahoots with Paige, who wanted to teach her mom a lesson in payback. A guilt-ridden Nicole covers when she tells Daniel she doesn't think she should move in after all. However, she's touched when he declares his love for her, and they end up making love. Nicole is more committed than ever to keeping her secret regarding Eric. Eric wants Serena to secretly record Xander and get him to admit his guilt. Serena balks, pointing out Xander would kill her if he found out the truth. Eric realizes she's right and goes back to insisting he wants nothing to do with her. He later confides in Marlena his hurt and anger regarding Serena. Meanwhile, Serena has another run-in with Xander, and she notes how he's ruined her life, yet he has walked away from all this unscathed. This prompts her to call Eric and tell him she's changed her mind - she'll help him nail Xander. Hope and Maggie question Victor about Xander, and he maintains the lie that he had no idea what kind of man he was. Wednesday July 8, 2015Ben has a nightmare about Abigail making love to him but calling out Chad's name. When he awakens, Abigail asks him to attend the summer picnic with her and Theo - and Chad. Ben agrees. He stays behind while Abigail gets the food, and he confides in Clyde what's going on. Clyde thinks they need to find a permanent solution to get Chad out of the picture. Earlier, Clyde makes a homophobic comment to Sonny, then backtracks. Later, Sonny informs Abigail he's certain Chad has feelings for her. At the same time, Chad surprises Zoe by asking her to join him and Theo for the summer picnic. She agrees, and while she goes shopping for something to wear, Chad runs into Abigail, who is curious off her conversation with Sonny. But before she can question him, Zoe returns, and Abigail beats a hasty retreat. Thursday July 9, 2015While hanging out with Derrick, Paul runs into Will and Sonny at the lake. Sonny is surprised to see them together, but rolls with it. John shows up and quizzes Paul about Derrick. Paul assures his dad they're just friends. He later tells the same thing to a disbelieving Will. Paul guesses that Will arranged this whole picnic just so Sonny could see him and Derrick together. Later, Sonny receives a call from Adrienne and has to cut the afternoon short. A glum Will tells Arianna the day didn't work out the way he had hoped. Abigail, Chad, Ben and Zoe spend time with Theo at the lake. Abigail doesn't feel that well, but she chalks it up to Theo spinning her on the inner tube. Back at Ben's apartment, Abigail, still feeling nauseous, suddenly realizes what might be the cause of her problem... and Ben questions this just as Chad shows up. Theresa isn't happy when she sees Brady bonding with the new young nanny. Later, Theresa makes a discovery, and after confiding in Anne, she realizes she might be able to use her discovery to her advantage. At the same time, John pays a visit to Brady and warns his son about Theresa. Adrienne wants to tell Sonny about her divorce from Justin, but runs into Lucas instead. They discuss how their relationship has become awkward... but Lucas offers support, and Adrienne is thankful to have a friend like him on her side. - Friday July 10, 2015E204
Friday July 10, 2015Nicole struggles over her guilt about what happened with Eric. However, she reaffirms her commitment to moving in with Daniel, resolving to leave the past behind her. Daniel and Nicole then run into Serena, who is waiting to meet with Eric to discuss how to trap Xander. While Nicole confronts Serena, a guilty Eric considers telling Daniel about his and Nicole's secret. Brady almost overhears Theresa's plan to use the nanny-cam footage to make Hayley appear unfit to care for Tate. However, Theresa is able to cover. Earlier, Brady fills Eric in on his arrangement with Theresa, and Eric offers hope that Theresa is working to be a better person. Ben and Chad are oblivious to Abigail's pregnancy panic. She takes off to buy a home pregnancy test and runs into Will, who finds out she may be expecting. She covers her angst about who the father may be as Will assumes it's Ben. With Will's support, Abigail takes the test. Meanwhile, Sonny busts Chad for still having feelings for Abigail. Will shares with Lucas his hope that therapy and time will save his marriage. Meanwhile, Sonny learns about his parents' divorce. He supports Adrienne, then wonders what's next with Lucas. Adrienne tells Sonny she doesn't really know. Monday July 13, 2015Abigail's rattled when her home pregnancy test comes back positive - and she blurts to Will that he can't say anything to Ben. Abigail tries to get on top of her emotions, and Will suggests she get a definitive blood test from Kayla. Abigail leaves to do just that but is a mass of conflicting feelings as she waits for the results. To her dismay, Kayla returns with a positive result. An emotional Abigail asks her aunt to run one more test... this one for paternity. And at that moment, Chad arrives at Kayla's office. Nicole arrives on Serena's doorstep, loaded for bear. Nicole was right all along about Serena, and it nearly got Nicole and Eric killed. Serena lashes back. It nearly turns into a catfight when Eric arrives and breaks things up. He gets Nicole outside, and in the heat of the moment, alludes to what they did together... but they're suddenly aware they're not alone and turn to find Serena's come out, having heard their conversation. Eric is tempted to tell Daniel the truth about him and Nicole but instead holds back. Victor arrives and Daniel's eager to know if he's going to help ensure Xander is put behind bars. Victor evades, claiming he doesn't know anything about Xander's activities that might help. Roman interrupts, saying he's suspicious that Xander's legitimate businesses may have been just a front for his smuggling operation. Suspicious Daniel twigs to Victor's reaction. JJ starts working for Sonny at Club TBD. When Sonny, seeing his cousin is hurting, asks about Paige, JJ admits there's no getting things back on track with her. Meanwhile, Paige thanks Daphne for her help in getting back at Eve. Paige wishes she could do something to make JJ know how much he hurt her. Tuesday July 14, 2015Eric and Nicole are alluding to what they did when Serena walks in on them. She's twigged to something going on between them, but they cover. Later, Eric meets up with Nicole at Daniel's apartment, still wanting to talk. She tries to shut it all down, telling him what they shared that night has to stay between them. But Eric has a problem: he's in love with her! Nicole's rocked. Meanwhile, Serena meets with Xander - and brings a pocket digital recorder. She tries to steer him into an incriminating conversation, but Xander gets suspicious, finds the recorder - and tells her she's going to pay. Chad arrives at Kayla's office as Abigail asks to have a paternity test run. Abigail and Kayla cover - and Chad backs away, seeing Abigail is upset and not wanting to interrupt. Once he's gone, Kayla realizes Abigail's urgent reason for needing the test - but Kayla has to inform her it's too early to safely conduct one. Abigail will have to wait. Abigail opens up about how cruel Chad's been to her and the huge mistake she made by sleeping with him. Kayla will consider Abigail's request to conduct the paternity test using information on Chad already on file, but she makes no promises. Later, Will is rocked when he figures out Abigail thinks Chad could be the father. He tells her about seeing Chad earlier - he seemed genuinely upset that Abigail might be sick. Earlier, Will's compassionate with Sonny, who is dealing with the news of his parents' pending divorce. Chad arrives, upset to think Abigail might not be well. He asks Sonny and Will if they know anything. Later, Chad returns to the hospital and tries to get Kayla to tell him what's going on with Abigail. Kayla downplays and says it's personal. Against this, Jennifer and Hope drop by Ben's place with some housewarming gifts now that Abigail has moved in. Ben's full of anticipation for things getting better and better with Abigail. Wednesday July 15, 2015Nicole thinks Eric's declaration of love is just a reaction to their intense near death experience, but Eric means it. Nicole makes it clear she doesn't return his feelings. She loves Daniel. She wants the two of them to get out of Daniel's place because he is due back any minute. They continue the conversation privately, but Serena overhears Nicole ask Eric to promise he won't tell Daniel what almost happened between them. Earlier, Xander threatens Serena, and Daniel comes upon them. When Serena and Daniel talk privately, she explodes in frustration that Daniel and Eric have forgiven Nicole but not her. Later, Hope visits Daniel at his apartment and finds an engagement ring. Theresa and Anne set up the nanny cam to make Hayley look bad. When Brady and Victor come home, Theresa tells them Tate's nanny is negligent. Victor doesn't believe her and reveals the existence of the nanny cam. Theresa acts surprised. When they play back the video, she is vindicated. JJ tells Agent Watts he'll get the goods on Kyle. Later, Rory thinks JJ's getting back into drugs, but JJ denies it. Rory then realizes JJ's agenda is to keep Paige away from Kyle. JJ approaches Kyle, saying he might be interested in doing business after all, but only if Kyle stays away from Paige. Paige overhears this last part and is furious. Earlier, Eve gets some anxiety medication as part of her scheme to get even with Jennifer. Jennifer runs into Paige, who thaws just a little bit. Thursday July 16, 2015Serena listens in as Nicole demands Eric answer her question about whether or not he's going to tell Daniel anything, but all Eric says is he will never hurt Nicole. He goes, and Nicole sees Serena, momentarily panicking. What did she hear? Serena claims she heard nothing. They start to get into another fight but are interrupted by Aiden. Nicole asks him about filing a civil suit against Xander and Serena. Nicole tells Serena that even if her lawsuit doesn't pan out, she can destroy Serena in the press. Earlier, Daniel admits to Hope that he intends to propose to Nicole when the time is right. Hope wishes him well. Nicole goes home to Daniel's, where she almost discovers the diamond ring. Daniel stops her just in time. Meanwhile, Serena wonders what Eric and Nicole's secret is. Hope joins Aiden, who has planned a very romantic overnight for them at a country inn. They celebrate the anniversary of when they first realized they cared for one another. They waltz again, then make love. Jennifer takes a sip of her medication-laden yogurt shake but thinks it tastes weird and dumps it, much to Eve's consternation. Eric invites Eve back to his place, and they end up having a friendly heart-to-heart, leading Eve to think better of trying to get revenge on Jennifer. Paige blasts JJ for interfering in her life again. Kyle leaves, and Paige and JJ get into it. She slaps him, and they share a charged moment. Kyle comes upon her, and she promises she'll call him about getting together later. JJ confides in Jennifer that Paige is hanging with the wrong people. Friday July 17, 2015Abigail discovers that the home pregnancy test she left in the wastebasket is missing. Convinced Ben must have found it, she nearly blurts the truth, but Hope's phone call interrupts her. When the women get together, Hope reveals she found the test the night before and sensed from Ben's behavior that he didn't know anything about it. Abigail, full of conflict, reveals she's pregnant but needs time to sort it all out before talking to Ben. What she doesn't tell Hope is her suspicion that Chad could be the father. Against this, Ben tells Clyde he is sure Abigail is committed to choosing him over Chad, despite the mistake she made. Later, Clyde shows up at the apartment and finds Abigail with Hope. He's very curious as to why Abigail is upset. Stefano summons Chad, wanting to know if his son is in love with Abigail. Stefano promises honest answers to anything Chad wants to know if he'll just answer that question. Chad confirms that he is - and learns Stefano has an underlying motive to wanting to see them together. His father reveals Abigail's about to inherit property in Ireland that could be critical to the DiMeras' future. Chad says Abigail has made her choice... but Stefano urges him not to give up on love. Unbeknownst to them both, Clyde hears every word of this via the bug he's planted in Stefano's study. After visiting Sonny and Arianna, Rafe goes for a run near the DiMera property. Stefano threatens the ex-cop, and sly Rafe lets him know he's still keeping an eye on him. Will confesses to Marlena his lame attempt to get Sonny to see Paul and Derrick together at the picnic. Later, Will sees Paul and Sonny in a friendly conversation. He can't help himself and follows Paul to confront him. Earlier, Kate has a contentious meeting with Paul about his sponsorship deal, and it's clear these two will never get along. She runs into Will and warns him never to trust Paul. Monday July 20, 2015Abigail and Hope are interrupted by Clyde, who claims he's there to fix the sink, but he's more interested in finding out what's going on with Abigail. He does his best to eavesdrop but eventually overstays his welcome. He waits outside until after Hope leaves and reenters the apartment while Abigail is in the shower. He finds a clue in the form of a prescription in her purse. Determined to find out what it's for, he blows off his lunch with Kate and learns the prescription is for prenatal vitamins, which can only mean one thing - Abigail is pregnant. Earlier, Abigail confides in Hope - not about the potential two dads, but that she wants to make sure everything is okay before she tells anyone she's pregnant. Later, she overhears Chad wistfully talking to Arianna about the child he never had the chance to know (Grace). Abigail reacts, feeling guilty. Rafe and Hope continue to dig up information on Clyde. Chad is invited to play basketball with Sonny, Will, Paul, Rafe and Ben. Rafe and Ben take out their aggressions on Chad during the competitive game. Earlier, Will and Paul nearly have it out, but Will surprises Paul by inviting him to play basketball. Paul accepts, and later Sonny is equally surprised by the gesture. Savvy Chad realizes what Will is up to and calls him on it. Will, Sonny and Paul return to Club TBD, where Adrienne arrives, upset about her divorce. Tuesday July 21, 2015Abigail is affected when she sees Chad with Arianna. She hears him talk about how he never knew he had a child until it was too late. Later, Abigail confides to Will that if it turns out Chad is the father of her child, she will have to leave Salem. Will suspects she's in love with Chad, but Abigail denies. At the same time, Sonny draws Chad out about his feelings for Abigail. Chad believes he got what he deserved for treating her badly. Meanwhile, Clyde figures out Abigail is pregnant, and when he talks to Ben, he realizes his son doesn't know. Clyde privately wonders if it's possible Chad's the father. He investigates and learns it's too soon for a paternity test. However, knowing Abigail is about to come into a huge inheritance, he's not about to let that slip away from Ben. Earlier, Will and Sonny have a heart-to-heart about their marriage and uncertain future. Daniel takes Nicole out for a romantic lunch. He finally produces the diamond ring and asks a stunned Nicole to marry him. Marlena finds Eric packing up all his reminders of Africa - and Serena. Eric admits he's getting ready to start over. They're interrupted by Serena, and after Marlena leaves, Eric makes it clear they have no future. Serena can't resist asking what really happened between him and Nicole the night they thought they were going to die. Rafe and Hope are interrupted by Aiden. Rafe realizes Hope is keeping something from Aiden about Abigail and calls her on it. He assures Hope she can trust him if she ever wants to talk.
