Throughout the trip, his girls (and neighbor Todd) help Ricky realize that he has feelings for Stephanie. Ricky helps Mirabel come to terms with her memories of her mother on trips past. Todd flexes his pseudo-botanist skills helping Elisa complete an environmental project for school.
