In Ireland one of the country's most popular singers Daniel O'Donnell and his wife Majella have made three series of The B&B Road Trip. The show has reached shares of 35% and it has won an Irish Television and Film Academy award. The entertainment comes from watching one of Ireland's most famous couples in a reality setting as they go on a journey where everything is a surprise to them.

Episode 1Singer Daniel O'Donnell and his wife Majella go on a tour of Irish towns and villages, staying in B&B accommodation and experiencing the local food, culture and sights. In the first edition, Daniel and Majella travel to Anne's B&B in Tulsk, Co Roscommon, where they meet the vivacious owner Anne Sheerin before setting off to Moy River B&B in Cloonacool, Co Sligo, which is run by Pat and Rita McCarrick. - Episode 2E2
Episode 2Singer Daniel O'Donnell and his wife Majella hit the road on a tour of the towns and villages of Ireland, staying in B&B accommodation in Gort, Co Galway and Carrigaholt, Co Clare, and experiencing the local food, culture and sights. Episode 3The O'Donnells visit Cloghane in Co Kerry to stay at O'Connor's B&B, which is run by Micheal and Sherry O'Dowd. Episode 4The O'Donnells visit Inch House in Thurles, Co. Tipperary, which is run by the Egan family, and enjoy the local country music festival - where they meet Nathan Carter. Episode 5The O'Donnells head to Enniskerry, Co Wicklow, to stay with Yvonne Rowe in Coolakay House, and take part in a tractor race across a local farm. They then travel to Carlingford, Co Louth, to spend the night at Shalom B&B, and owners Kevin and Jackie Woods take Daniel and Majella on a leprechaun tour through the Mourne Mountains. - Episode 6E6
Episode 6The O'Donnells head to Enniskillen in Co Fermanagh to stay at Joan and Tom Foster's Willowbank House, enjoying a scenic kayak trip around the town before travelling to their final destination in Newtownabbey, Co Antrim. There they stay with Tim and Ethy Clifford and attend a rock 'n' roll-themed house party. Last in the series.
