After causing a man to commit suicide over a misunderstanding and receiving a proposal from his long-term boyfriend, sexually-repressed Henry has a breakdown and leaves home to move in with work colleague Dean and love interest Freddie, both half his own age; meanwhile his ex Lance finds new love with Daniel. Modern life for gay men in the city of Manchester by the mind behind "Queer As Folk", writer Russell T. Davies.

From the mind of Russell T Davies (Queer As Folk), this dramedy from the UK cuts like the sharp cucumber-slicing knife seen in the opening of each episode. Seasoned actor, Vincent Franklin, guides us through the satirical 8-episode mini-series with comedic aplomb as his character, (46-year-old protagonist) Henry Best, struggles with his life and sexuality as an aging gay man in the 21st century. Fast paced, funny, sometimes poignant, and always loaded with acerbic dialog, each episode had me looking forward to the next, and after all, what more could you ask from a TV series? TIP: Enhance the experience by viewing companion series, "Banana", concurrently. Watch the corresponding numbered episodes back to back with 🥒 first, then 🍌.
