Sanych and Lyonya find out that Valera was abandoned by his father on his fifth new year - he left the family. Sanych and Lyonya go in search of him. But Valera's father doesn't need a child. He refuses to communicate with his son. Valera's wife also left him, but Lyonya persuades her to make peace with her husband in the New Year. PEPS is celebrated at Sanych. Valera's wife came to them to tell them about the divorce, but she is killed by Achilles, who recently reclined and came to visit PEPS.
