Andy changes the Graffiti to read 'Andy McDonald is a grass'. Des borrows a van to help the Platts move house and Phyllis helps out at the café whilst Gail is moving house. Percy gets annoyed when Reg criticises the way he portrays Santa and resigns, which means Reg is forced to take over as Santa. A customer whose wife was insulted by Percy turns up and threatens Reg, shoving him into the scenery. Phyllis tells Emily she'll be spending Christmas on her on. Emily feels sorry for her and invites her to No. 3. Emily told to wind up the charity shop, as the lease is not going tobe renewed. The Platts move into No. 8 and Angie is please when Des invites her to spend Christmas with him. Bet is touched when Des gives her a present.When he kisses her she doesn't stop him. She is horrified to find Victoria has seen them.
