Hilda insists he cleans forty houses a day. Ken wants Val to have a private operation on her knee even though it will cost over £200. Ray makes it clear to Lucille that she was wrong to tell Audrey about Dickie's job. Meanwhile, Audrey asks Dickie about his work and is unhappy when she doesn't get the truth out of him.
