The first firearms allowed even the weakest, most unskilled to operate a weapon for the first time. Peter Woodward teaches his crew how to operate some of these first firearms. They explore how to effectively fire and make the ammunition and powder for the matchlock, flintlock and Kentucky brown bess. In the end, the challenge is up to them to see if they can fire these weapons successfully.
