He is also involved with teaching stage design to students, in particular at The Australian Institute of Music and is a regular judge for the National Rock Eisteddfod Challenge. James was costumier for the Human Nature National Tour and was associate designer for the musical Shout! He is currently designing for the Sydney Theatre Company.
