With the immigration service still hot on their heels, Victor and Maria have taken refuge in Iwan's trailer. For a moment they feel safe, but then the blue flashing lights appear at the circus grounds. Again the papers of all artists have to be checked. Madam Koket must also report and temporarily entrusts her ill poodle Doesjka to Karo. But Karo uses the opportunity to take the dog to her father to be treated.
