A Breath of Fresh Air: Why I Adore Christy They just don't make television like this anymore. As someone who truly values wholesome entertainment, revisiting the series Christy feels like coming home. It is a beautiful, heart-tugging reminder of what matters most in life. The Beauty of the Mountains First, the scenery is just glorious. The lush green of the Great Smoky Mountains is so vivid you can almost smell the fresh air and the woodsmoke. It transports you to a simpler time and place, far away from the noise of the modern world. A True Pioneer Spirit What I love most is Christy’s character. Watching a young woman leave her comfortable, wealthy city life to serve people in poverty with such selfless dedication is inspiring. She embodies that true pioneering spirit—grit, grace, and a desire to make a difference through education and faith. It warms my heart to see a community built on helping one another. A Love Story for the Ages And, oh, the romance! The tension between Christy, the steady Reverend, and the dashing, complicated Dr. Neil MacNeill is wonderful. It’s sweet, clean, and full of genuine emotion without being inappropriate. (I admit, I still have a soft spot for the Doctor!) The Bottom Line If you want a show that celebrates faith, service, and the beauty of the human heart, Christy is a treasure. It is the kind of storytelling that feeds the soul.

I LOVE this show. It's done well in every aspect. I wish there were more shows like this. It's a needed reprieve from the sex, violence, other smut , redundant plots, same ol explosions, high speed car chases, or abundance of special effects that replace good plots these days. It's wholesome and heartfelt but that doesn't mean it's boring !!
