Charles becomes a substitute-teacher for Sarah and her classmates; for a joint-assignment, she is partnered with charming Russell Davis. The charm wears thin, however, when Russell manipulates her into doing the whole project by herself. Charles himself is baffled, when Russell puts more effort into avoiding classwork than would have gone into actually doing the same work. Yet it turns out Russell isn't lazy at all...he's illiterate.
