A beggar's woman is injured when the couple request cash from a belligerent man of the cloth. The woman transpires to be the vicar's daughter. Discontented Liz reveals her plan to Josh to resign and go travelling. Jack, having confided in Charlie that his pregnant painter woman fiancé has left him, vents his frustration on Sam. He is later called in for a ticking off by Elliot for various errors and general attitude, and after finding out that it was Baz who dropped him in it over the patient who died, hands in his resignation in a fit of pique and walks out.
