Aernout is still lovesick about Jul and has been carving a wooden hart in a tree near Laar. Unfortunately the tree he's picked is part of a Witches circle. Tor and Madelein, now King and Queen of Sombrië, arrive to visit their old friends. Meanwhile, both Hildebrandt and Barend seem to catch a glimpse of their hometown Hamelen inside the barn of Hildebrandt's castle.
