Accused unjustly of the death of his wife, Luis (Federico Amador) escapes from Patagonia by taking his baby. Only a teenager is witness to the escape. Already in the city, Luis adopts a new identity and remakes his life. They spend 14 years and Luis decides to fulfill an old promise he made to his daughter: finish high school. There, in the night school, he finds love again in his teacher, who is none other than Luciana (Calu Rivero), that young woman who saw him flee years ago. His past, from which he thought he had escaped, pursues him and endangers everything he has, including his daughter. For her part, Luciana is a woman subjected to Vito (Esteban Lamothe), an abusive husband and manipulator. She needs to wake up, open her eyes and empower herself, if she does not want to end up sunk and lost in a life tight with unhappiness.
