Lunchtime causes Caillou to think of an indoor picnic and even Gilbert enjoys the rainy-day arrangement.

Lights Out!A winter storm with snow and freezing rain is heading in Caillou’s direction. While preparing dinner, the lights go out. Caillou doesn’t understand how lights turn off by themselves and is very afraid. Mom sets candles on the tables while Caillou and Dad get flashlights. Dad builds a fire in the fireplace and they pretend they’re camping. They even toast marshmallows! At bedtime everybody curls up by the fire in sleeping bags. Caillou wakes up to the sound of the TV. He realizes the power is back on. But everybody is comfy, so they all sleep in the living room anyway.
