Mr Spoon and his family live on Junk Planet. He travels in his baked bean tin spaceship across blanket sky to Button Moon. There he meets many strange characters and watches stories unfold on other planets using his telescope.

    The Caterpillar Who Loved His GreensMr Spoon takes Tina on a trip to Button Moon. They help a single glove that has lost her partner and meet Reggie Veggie a man made from vegetables. Through the telescope they see a caterpillar become a beautiful butterfly.

    The New CanoeIt has been snowing so Mrs Spoon and Tina stay at home to build a snowman. Mr Spoon visits a frozen Button Moon and sees the Bottle Army trying to keep warm. Through the telescope they see the Chief making a new canoe for his son.

    The Biggest Tomato in the WorldThe Spoon family are playing hide and seek in the garden before Mr Spoon and Tina fly to Button Moon. They see vacuum cleaner sucking up letters from the sky. Through the telescope they see Bertie and Gertie enter a competition.

    Scruffy and the SparrowMr Spoon flies to Button Moon in his spaceship and sees the vacuum cleaner and Small Bottle cleaning the castle pipes. Through his telescope Mr Spoon sees Scruffy the Dog - but he is singing as if he is a bird.

    The Dragon Has a ColdEarly one morning Mr Spoon takes off in his spaceship headed for Button Moon. Once there he meets a pair of talking taps. Through his telescope Mr Spoon sees Brew the witch. But her dragon Thunder is causing chaos as he has a cold.

    The Flying Jam SandwichThe Spoon family washes the spaceship before Mr Spoon travels through space, past flying paint pots. On Button Moon are two balls of wool, Bundle and Fluff. Vacuum Cleaner rescues Fluff when the blast from Mr Spoon's spaceship blows her away. Through the telescope you see Tortoise and Hare and the Flying Jam Sandwich.
  • The Persian Market

    The Persian MarketMr Spoon flies to Button Moon passing flying saucers, cups, sugar lumps and stars. On the moon he helps find Ronnie Teapot's missing lid then through the telescope he sees sheep, sand dancers and a snake charmer at a Persian market.

    Music in the AirMr Spoon, Tina and her friend Egbert meet a rag doll and a Wibbly Wobbly man on Button Moon who are afraid of a dinosaur in the toy closet. Through the telescope they see Scruffy the dog enjoying a brass band playing at the park.

    Scruffy at the SeasideMr and Mrs Spoon are going to Button Moon for the night so Egbert's mum is babysitting Tina and Egbert. The Spoons see an octopus opera singer at Buttonhole Pond. The telescope shows Scruffy the Dog at the seaside.

    The Little Red HenFor Tina's birthday Queenie Jelly puts on a show with acrobat donuts, a gingerbread strongman lifting rock cakes and a singing birthday cake. Through the telescope the Spoon's watch the Little Red Hen making bread on the farm.

    Getting Away from It AllMr Spoon travels to Button Moon where he comes to the aid of Junior the toothbrush who is too small to see what is going on. Later through the telescope Mr Spoon sees Brew the Witch who is badly in need of a holiday.

    The Lion and the MouseThe Spoon family are going to the Button Moon Hotel for a holiday. When they arrive they watch a show at the Paper Circus. Through the telescope they then watch the story of the little mouse who came to the aid of the great lion.
