Boyd Pritchett is a guy from Virginia who is bringing his sister to Boston to go to college. After arriving, he meets a student named Joy and is captivated by her. And when he displays his repairman skills, he gets a job working at the college. He hopes to hook up with Joy, but she already has a boyfriend, a professor. But he decides to stick it out.
