The bears set up traps in front of Logger Vick's cabin. But that day turns out to be Vick's rest day; therefore their plan goes up in smoke. The bears notice that Logger Vick arranges his rest and work according to the calendar, so they swap the calendars and unplug the phone. Vick winds up taking a week-long holiday because the calendar says those days are public holidays.
