A stagecoach accident in the mountains during a severe windstorm leaves the passengers with no choice but to make their way across country as best they can. One is found stabbed to death with Little Joe's knife, and the suspicion for his murder falls on Joe. Little Joe and the other passengers must explore a complex mystery involving love, deception, money, and more murder, in order to reveal what is hidden among them.
