The title character, Sylwia Kubus, is a veterinary surgeon who, after a conflict with her colleagues, leaves Warsaw, because she does not want to participate in the world of lies, scams, intrigues, etc. She moves to Majak, but quickly notices that this place is no different from the one from which He arrived. The heroine decides to change the village for a better one.
