Episode 1Mitar, a peaceful man living in Eastern Serbia, starts killing off his neighbours randomly. Petar, a troubled Security Intelligence Agency operative arrives at the village as a negotiator in an attempt to persuade Mitar to surrender.

Episode 2Mitar ends up in a coma. Police inspectors Tomic and Blagojevic take over the case and invite a well-known psychologist Natasa as a judicial witness. Another story began in 1976, following Mica Djuric, a famous sports commentator.

Episode 3Monk Tihon tries to convince Natasa that Ida is in danger; Mitar wakes up from the coma; Peter investigates on his own; in the 1970s, Mica visits his home village.
