Season 2

Follows Ren Mihashi, who had previously excelled as his middle school baseball team's ace pitcher, due to his grandfather's connections as its manager. As he graduates to high school, whose baseball team his grandfather does not manage, he initially does not believe he is good enough to succeed at baseball, however, but assisted by his friends, he grows in stature, confidence and skill, helping his team excel with his own ability.

This should be doable for Mihashi and Abe since they continue to make a great battery, but at the same time, could Mihashi's reliance on Abe's signaling spell trouble in the games to come? Hits and sprints, pains and sprains... Mihashi and team have quite a struggle ahead of them if they want to play on the legendary field of Koshien Stadium!

Fifth MatchThe game against Bijyou Dai Sayama High has begun, and Mihashi questions why Bijyou's batters only seem to swing on pitches that are the opposite of what they like to hit.

We're Being ScoutedIt's 4-0, and Nishiura hasn't gotten a single run. After discovering that the courses were wrong and that Bijyou had scouted them, Abe is able to lead Mihashi to pitch two no-hit innings.
