- MBUlovesCinemaApril 3, 2026Awesome show My first anime that I watched that wasn’t for kids!! Loved the story and the characters!! Wish it was longer!! Loved everything!! I absolutely adore all animals, so I was extremely worried when I first heard about this show because I thought it would permanently ruin my love for animals But it did not! I don’t know why people say this anime is for creeps Cuz I was so much more invested in the story than anything else. Loved the environment, the plot, the arc, everything Of course this would not be my comfort show, but it’s definitely in my top ten shows!! I really really hope they soon make an actual film based on this show. Although I always prefer the media rather than the books, the manga doesn’t seem bad at all. I haven’t fully watched it but I love what I’ve seen so far!! Highly recommend !! All those people who are too cowardly to watch this need to get over it and start watching it!! Sure it’s a bit weird, but it’s the type of weird which you actually enjoy!!
- ZercesApril 19, 2026The first season was a bit long-winded, the second was somewhat better. It's not really my cup of tea and, above all, quite unrealistic, even if you disregard the "animals are human" thing. While realism isn't a given in many anime, it's a point that stands out with certain themes, especially when a very realistic approach is desired. That said, I liked the political debate about a strong majority being ruled by a weak minority. It reflects the zeitgeist of current political issues very well.
