    Election 97: Part 121:55-05:50. David Dimbleby hosts the election results coverage-the BBC's biggest ever single news programme. Election 97 brings together top presenters, state-of-the-art graphics and a dramatic studio set. While Jeremy Paxman puts politicians through their paces, Peter Snow analyses proceedings with the help of a "virtual reality" swingometer. A giant video wall will bring news and reactions from the 80 outside broadcasts. From Banff and Buchan in the north of Scotland to Falmouth and Camborne in the south west of England, the programme will broadcast the results live from the target seats where the outcome of the election will be decided. The first result is expected at around 11.30pm.

    Election 97: Part 214:10-16:30. Coverage of the final stage of the election as the last results come in from Northern Ireland. Cameras will be in Downing Street, outside Buckingham Palace, around the country and at party headquarters to discuss the final outcome.
