The Greenhalgh family lived modestly in Bolton but in their garden shed, son Shaun was busy creating fake paintings, antiques and sculptures that would dupe the art world out of hundreds of thousands of pounds, while his parents, George and Olive, concocted an elaborate provenance for each forgery. This beautifully played drama shows how, despite the cash they were paid, the family continued to live a frugal lifestyle. And the man who aspired to be an artistic genius? He's in prison serving a term of four years and eight months.
