Baloise Session (until 2012 known as AVO SESSION Basel) is an indoor music festival, which takes place every October/November in Basel, Switzerland. The festival features international as well as national artists of diverse music genres in an intimate club setting.

Knighted by the Queen in 1998, this veteran star aired doubtless many of his greatest hits during his two performances: songs everyone knows, such as «Crocodile Rock», «Sacrifice», «Sad Songs» and «Rocket Man». With his dynamic piano playing, energetic live shows, outsize glasses and flamboyant stage costumes, Elton John has not only conquered the world, but broken all records for recording artists. He has sold over 250 million albums and had 50 Top Forty hits. These achievements ensured Elton John a place on rock music's Mount Olympus many years ago.
