Polish lorry drivers block border with Ukraine

Since November 2023, Polish lorry drivers have been blocking the main border crossing into Ukraine with the aim of preventing their Ukrainian counterparts from transporting goods to the European Union. Polish drivers see the EU’s decision to lift the requirement for Ukrainian drivers to hold a special permit as unfair competition.
