Many people prefer hosting brunches compared to formal dinners due to the more casual and relaxed nature of the former which provides the host/chef the feeling of freedom to experiment more in the kitchen. Anna demonstrates three recipes for different components of a brunch meal. She starts with streusel topped banana muffins, which she explains cannot be achieved solely by using one's favorite banana bread recipe and just baking such batter in muffin tins. She moves onto cinnamon roll, singular, in transforming what most know as pull apart cinnamon rolls into one showstopping large roll which is served in wedges. And finally, she takes the dessert waffle to the next level by making a chocolate chip waffle layer cake, chocolate chip waffles that are stacked and sandwiched by peanut butter cream cheese frosting and salted caramel bananas.
