    Episode 1Documentary following trainee RSPCA inspectors over the course of a year. The course begins with a timed swimming test and a working-at-height assessment with the fire service. They then get a taste of some of the challenges they will face when they shadow qualified inspectors working real cases, experiencing everything from rescuing wildlife and saving malnourished animals to seeking justice for abused pets. Nat must confront traumatic memories of a childhood riding accident to save a field full of horses that are all close to death. Becky witnesses a case of cruelty but also gets to release an injured owl.

    Episode 2It's spring and the trainees are out shadowing qualified inspectors. Georgie rescues two cats and a swan in trouble whilst Natalie helps the police stamp out illegal blood sport.

    Episode 3The trainee inspectors are halfway through their year. Nat helps two pigeons, Debs rescues two meerkats, Jess helps a dog find a new family and they all get a lesson in euthanasia.

    Episode 4The trainees start working real-life cases alone. Becky deals with an abandoned cat, Jess deals with a horse being kept in a back garden and Georgie assists in a dispute over a cat.

    Episode 5The trainees are investigating cases by themselves for the first time. Debs deals with a potentially deadly snake, Rowena rushes to rescue a pet rabbit and Jess helps a boxer with a lump.

    Episode 6Becky deals with an injured bird, Rowena investigates a case of animal cruelty and both Natalies help cats in need of care, as they prove they're ready to become full-time inspectors
