Harry Gardner, his wife, and daughter come to Provincetown on the Cape Cod coast so Harry can overcome his writer's block and produce a TV screenplay. But soon strange Pale Persons plague the family, and another writer offers Harry a black pill that he says will overcome the writer's block.
