E1Das Ende der WeltDuring a climbing trip in the Eifel mountains, Ben and Semir witness a group of commandos killing an unidentified man. The cops manage to escape, but afterwards, the man's body has gone. A cryptic message written in the forest ground leads to Oliver Sturm, who runs an online community that focuses on conspiracy theories, a quite ridiculous person. Ben and Semir do not believe him, and even make fun of him, until he shows them a video which was uploaded to the website by the victim prior to his death: a man dies during a medical experiment. Ben and Semir begin investigating against Wolf Rassmann and his pharmaceutical company. During a break-in at Rassmann headquarters at night, they get infected with a deadly virus. Meanwhile, Rassmann intends to sell the virus and the antidote to a dangerous Japanese cult.
