Overnight, worlds may change... but truth remains constant no matter how much time passes. Al Fawaris is a tale that invites viewers into a fictionalized past, exploring the conflicts between the Persian and Roman empires and the fragmented Arab tribes during the pre-Islamic era. The story follows the Arab tribes' struggle to unite their scattered forces into a political and military power capable of standing against the two great empires on their borders. The series begins with the inspiring character of Saqr, around whom the Arab tribes rally. However, Saqr and a group of his commanders are captured by the Romans. Under brutal torture, Saqr loses his memory. While his companions manage to escape captivity and rescue him, Saqr struggles to recover his memory, leaving the tribes in disarray without unified leadership. The tribes suffer from division and fragmentation until Saqr, after a series of dramatic events and thrilling adventures, returns to reunite them. While the historical setting is real, the events, battles, and tribe names are entirely fictional, making this series a blend of fantasy and historical inspiration. Al Fawaris is considered the second installment of the series that began with Al Burkan (The Volcano), which aired a decade earlier. The events in Al Fawaris pick up where Al Burkan left off, as Saqr (previously named Ward in Al Burkan) and his allied tribes prepare for a war against the Romans.
