The reward hormone that gives you a good feeling when you perform a task that promotes your survival, by dopamine transforms humans from primitive creatures that seek to survive to make complex civilization and great inventions, but what if dopamine is a brake-free propellant hormone, and what if it drives humans to evolve and invent beyond their needs? Can dopamine then be the cause of the end.
