Ahsoka Ratings & Reviews

The only thing that kept this from getting 5 stars is the Qui Gon effect and Ahsoka not doing her Form IV flips like she did in the Clone Wars other than that I love Ahsoka, she's my boo 😍 and Anakin is an amazing teacher he taught her well.

Love the show can't wait for a second season, You must watch all four season of Star Wars Rebels first for the backstory.

⭐⭐⭐⭐½ (out of 5) Ahsoka – The calm before the storm, where legacy and loss dance under twin suns. “Ahsoka” carries the weight of the Force with quiet determination. It doesn’t shout like The Mandalorian or swagger like Andor — it breathes. The series drifts between melancholy and hope, weaving its story through the ghosts of the Clone Wars and the shadows left behind by Anakin Skywalker. It’s a tale not of conquest, but of endurance. Stylistically, it feels like the elegant tragedy of Rogue One met the mythic grandeur of The Clone Wars, wrapped in the deliberate pacing of an old samurai film. There’s a certain meditative stillness here — a show that remembers the galaxy is vast and broken, yet still worth saving. Compared to its siblings, Ahsoka sits firmly in the middle ground between despair and destiny. Where The Mandalorian gives us bounty-hunter grit and Andor paints rebellion in moral greys, Ahsoka stands tall as the philosopher’s entry — steeped in loss, guided by purpose, and always looking for light through the cracks. Visually stunning, deeply spiritual, and layered with emotion, Ahsoka feels like a hymn to everything Star Wars once promised — hope tempered by heartbreak. A 4.5-star journey through faith, failure, and the slow rebuilding of the soul.

It may be Star Wars Rebels Part 2, but Ahsoka continues Dave Filoni's love for this character in a faithful way that adds some of the best dueling in the Disney era. Hayden's return as Anakin was a dream come true for fans, and Thrawn steals the spotlight as an utterly captivating genius that makes fans eager for an Heir to the Empire adaptation.

The ONLY reason this show gets any stars at all is because of the Anakin interactions. Seeing Anakin again and witnessing his fate was truly amazing. The rest of the show is Disney Star Wars trash we've all grown tired of.

By no means the worst of Disney Star Wars, but not without its own set of issues. Plagued by a couple of plot holes and some idiotic decisions by the key villains, Ahsoka's worst issue is the acting. The issue is so universal, with the exception of Ray Stevenson, that one is lead to lay the issue at the feet of the famed director. Perhaps Mr. Filoni is better suited for voice direction than in-person direction. He also demonstrates another of his weaknesses--the constant key jangling of cameos and characters from better properties, especially his own. That being said, the character development is solid here and the action and CG is believable enough, even stunning at times. Be ready for some significant plot armor for the main cast, but this is hardly an issue unique to the show, if one considers it an issue at all. Not a waste of time, but don't expect to get your socks blown off either, unless you are easily pleased with plot points that are essentially "Oh the guy from the thing!"
