Ye Guang is a popular high school student with top grades and overbearing parents. Xu Qi Zhang is an average student during the day and a rock star at night. Though they are as different as can be, they may be more similar than they think.

This would go in the list of my favorite BLs of all time. It's a beautifully sweet story of two boys falling in love. It doesn't fall back on tropes of unacceptance, bullying, etc. but instead shows how two lives are greatly improved by their love for each other. The central conflicts are between parental expectations (high academic performance) and tragedy (loss of a parent) that are handled adroitly. The second couple is nice too, but on multiple rewatches I've found myself fast forwarding through their scenes. In short, I'm in love with this series and it deserves 10 out of 5 stars.
