Season 1

Russell's dreams of being a composer has so far only led to composing radio jingles. His wife Susanna earns enough money to provide for the both of them. One night Russell meets Elly and it is love at first sight. He never expected to get in an extramarital affair and there are many problems that must be overcome if he will be able to build a future with her.

Episode TwoRussell tries to win back favour with Elly after turning up at her home drunk at 3 a.m. While he is not happy that Susannah wants to bring her ill mother to stay for a while. Luis finds romance when he meets Pier's at a book shop.

Episode ThreeRussell's guilt has left him unable to perform in bed. Telling Susannah he needs peace and quiet, to write some music, he takes off, to the country, with Elly but she demands commitment in return. Luis arranges a date with Piers.

Episode FourRussell returns from his holiday and is determined to tell Susannah he wants to leave her. When she discovers his £16,000 royalty cheque she has big plans for the future. Camilla makes a pass at Elly and she turns to Luis for help.

Episode FiveRussell attempts to focus on Susannah after Elly has walked away from their romance. Luis starts to put together a brand new drag show but is in denial about his health issues. Camilla sends Susannah a picture of Russell and Elly.

Episode SixRussell is sleeping on Luis couch with Susannah kicking him out due to his affair with Elly. She now wants a divorce having found a new man With his lucrative jingle shelved and Elly heading to Australia, Russell has lost everything.
