I just watched Ted: The Series, and I would give it a solid 5 out of 5 stars. This show was incredible and honestly exceeded all of my expectations. It captures everything that made the Ted movies so funny while adding even more character development and hilarious moments. From the first episode to the last, I was entertained the entire time and never felt like there was a weak episode. The series takes place before the movies and follows Ted as he continues living with John and his family during high school. The show does a great job expanding the characters and showing their everyday lives while keeping the same outrageous humor that fans expect. Even though it is a prequel, it stands on its own and tells a story that feels fresh and worth watching. The cast is fantastic. Seth MacFarlane is once again perfect as the voice of Ted, bringing the same personality and humor that made the character so popular. Max Burkholder does an excellent job as a younger John, and the rest of the family adds so much to the show. Their chemistry feels natural, and every character gets plenty of funny moments throughout the season. The comedy is one of the biggest strengths of the series. There are so many laugh out loud moments, clever jokes, and ridiculous situations that had me smiling the whole time. The show is not afraid to push boundaries, but it also has plenty of heart underneath all the comedy. It balances emotional moments with humor really well, making the characters feel more real than I expected. The pacing is excellent because every episode keeps the story moving while introducing new situations and memorable moments. I never felt bored, and before I knew it, I had finished the entire season. It is one of those shows that is very easy to binge because every episode makes you want to watch the next one. What I liked most is that the series never feels like it is simply trying to copy the movies. Instead, it expands the world and gives you more time with characters you already enjoy. It feels like a natural extension of the Ted franchise and proves that there are still plenty of great stories left to tell. Overall, Ted: The Series is one of the best comedy shows I have watched in a long time. It is hilarious, well written, and filled with memorable characters and great performances. I loved every episode and had an amazing time watching it. My only complaint is that I wish there were more seasons because I could easily keep watching this cast for years. I highly recommend it to anyone who enjoyed the Ted movies or is looking for a comedy that will keep them laughing from beginning to end. For me, it easily earns 5 out of 5 stars.

An incredible surprise, this I found way better than the movies. Each episode at least left me with one laugh, can’t wait for season 2.

Yes, it is somewhat childish at times. But a part of us always remains a little childish. Personally, I find it captivating because it isn't afraid to say something crude, occasionally pushing or even crossing the line of decency. That is what makes it what it truly is and what it is supposed to be. I am satisfied.

Foul-Mouthed Sunshine If you ever wondered what would happen if a childhood miracle was marinated in cheap beer and Boston cynicism, look no further. The Ted prequel series isn’t just a show; it’s a foul-mouthed hug for your soul. The Nostalgia is Aggressive: It captures the '90s with such terrifying accuracy that I physically felt my knees start to ache and suddenly craved a Surge soda. Ted is a Life Coach (Sort of): Watching a CGI bear give terrible life advice to a teenage John Bennett is the kind of wholesome chaos we don't deserve, but desperately need. A masterclass in "I love you, now shut up." The bickering is so rhythmic it’s practically a Broadway musical, just with more insults. The Verdict This show is an absolute delight. It’s crude, it’s loud, and it has more heart than a Hallmark movie. Mostly because it isn't afraid to let that heart get a little bit of second-hand smoke. It’s the only show where a talking teddy bear can make you question your moral compass while simultaneously making you snort-laugh into your cereal. "It’s like The Wonder Years, if Kevin Arnold spent his time ripping bongs with a sentient stuffed animal."

Surprisingly Charming and Consistently Funny "Ted" successfully expands the world of the original films into a television format, capturing the same irreverent humor while adding a more relaxed and episodic rhythm. The series leans heavily into its comedic tone, embracing absurd situations and crude jokes, yet it manages to maintain a surprising amount of charm beneath the chaos. The performances play a big role in making the series work. The cast shares strong comedic chemistry, allowing the humor to feel spontaneous and natural. The dynamic between the characters often becomes the highlight, balancing outrageous comedy with moments of genuine warmth that keep the show engaging. Visually, the series maintains solid production quality for a comedy, and the integration of its central character remains convincing throughout. The soundtrack and overall presentation support the lighthearted tone, helping create an atmosphere that feels energetic and playful. The writing is fast-paced and filled with jokes, keeping episodes lively and easy to watch. The script balances crude humor with character-driven comedy, which helps prevent the series from feeling repetitive over time. It's not perfect, but even with some minor shortcomings, the series proves to be a very entertaining continuation of the concept. Its confident humor, strong chemistry among the cast, and easygoing pace make it a fun comedy that's far more engaging than one might initially expect.

This show is so good - had no idea what to expect going in and damn it’s way better than the movies - the characters are great and the mom alone carries it - sucks there won’t be a season 3 but man I loved it all.
