Very tongue-in-cheek, the show almost plays itself straight, but there’s this air of self awareness that makes it a blast to watch. Some of the acting is hit or miss, but that’s okay given the campy-ness. Love seeing Bruce Campbell any chance I can get. Also, Nolan North is here, and that’s always a treat.
- Doc Worm1 września 2026Hysteria is fairly enjoyable watch even if it’s a bit tropey. It’s shame it got cancelled after one season because I would’ve like to see these characters grow a bit more. Can you watch it as is? Yes, it tells a story with a defined beginning, middle and end. Although you tell the plan was to go further. The cast is actually pretty enjoyable even if the lead is a bit miserable to watch at points. Of course, I watched this for Bruce Campbell and while hes a highlight, don’t expect anything too over the top as his role is relatively straight forward.
