Michael Dwayne Vick (/vɪk/; VIK; born June 26, 1980) is an American former professional football player who was a quarterback in the National Football League (NFL), primarily with the Atlanta Falcons and the Philadelphia Eagles. Renowned for his rushing ability and dynamic play, he was a four-time Pro Bowl selection and became the first quarterback in NFL history to rush for over 1,000 yards in a single season. Vick played 13 seasons in the league: with the Falcons from 2001 to 2006, the Eagles from 2009 to 2013, the New York Jets in 2014, and the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2015. He retired as the NFL’s all-time leader in quarterback rushing yards, revolutionizing the position with his dual-threat style.
