As a producer, he contributed to notable films such as The Red Badge of Courage (1951), directed by John Huston. Reinhardt also directed several films, including Town Without Pity (1961), a gripping courtroom drama starring Kirk Douglas that earned an Academy Award nomination for its theme song.
