Geoffrey Michael Chater Robinson, is an English television and film actor and poet. He was born in Barnet, Hertfordshire. His first role was as "Constable" in Master Cook and Magnificence. He also had a minor role in a British TV serial Brideshead Revisited where he played a role of British Council. As of 2017, Chater was still giving poetry readings.
