Egill Eðvarðsson (born 28 October 1947) is an Icelandic visual artist and director. Egill graduated from the Iceland Academy of the arts and crafts in 1971. In 2019, Egill received the Edda honorary award, having worked in Icelandic television and film production for almost 50 years, but for most of his career he worked in programming and recording management at RÚV.
