Anderson Dias is a Brazilian citizen, best known for being the first Brazilian to visit every sovereign state in the world, accomplishing the feat in 543 days. Although Anderson attempted to break the record and enter the Guinness World Records, he was surpassed by Canadian Taylor Demonbreun, who accomplished the feat in 554 days, fulfilling all the necessary rules for recognition as the fastest record holder to visit every country in the world to date. Still, Anderson is recognized as the first Brazilian to visit every known UN-recognized state.
