A rare miss for director Ron Honard "Eden" is nothing more than a lousy old time TV movie of the week, that's a total waste of time and money.

Both Sydney Sweeney and Ana de Armas really prove they are capable actresses here. Jude Law is stunning and over the top. Still not sure what I watched... like I said, crazy.

Great plot based on true events, depicts the harsh reality of isolated off grid living in that time, and the human elements of all of the settlers, as they try to deal with one another. I enjoyed the directing choices of Howard. Strong acting performances from most, only felt De Armas character could have been a bit more subtle in her selfish conceitedness it could have drawn a lot from more layers and less bluntness. I thought Sydney Sweeney was excellent, and her role was cast perfectly. All in all, i liked this movie. i will rate this 7.7/10

- JoshuaW24. desember 2025Okay… four stars is what I thought to be fair. Really loved the raw emotion, all of the main casting members seemed to truly be in the moment, through out the movie. Shows how quick a bad apple can cause chaos. Just trying to survive in the wild comes with troubles you’d never would expect. I liked it a lot. Re-watchable🫤? Yeah, maybe.
