- ርልዪረ8 februari 2025I decided to watch this film as I like Ben Stiller films and wanted a new comedy to watch, after reading the reviews on Amazon I was unsure what to expect as they were very mixed. It starts of a bit slow at first but is really funny. It's about a couple that buy a new home and have to put up with an annoying old lady living upstairs. If you want to watch a good comedy give this a go you will not be disappointed.

Als je het hebt over 'The American Dream', dan zijn Alex en Nancy het ideale voorbeeld. Ze zijn een jong en hip stel uit New York met de wereld aan hun voeten. Eén ding ontbreekt nog in hun perfecte leventje: een liefdesstulpje om samen te gaan wonen. Dat verandert als ze onverwacht het huis van hun dromen vinden. In hetzelfde appartementencomplex woont de bejaarde mevrouw Connely. Al snel komen Alex en Nancy erachter dat zij niet zo aardig en flexibel is als ze in eerste instantie leek. Ze eist de aandacht van het stel volledig op en voor elk wissewasje staat ze op de stoep. Alex en Nancy's ooit zo perfecte leventje begint dan ook barsten te vertonen en hun droom is inmiddels een nachtmerrie geworden. Ze beginnen zich af te vragen of er geen manier is om het oude mensje het complex uit te werken.
