Rüstem, who aims to exorcise evil spirits that torment people, is driven mad one evening by an extremely dangerous spirit. After killing his wife in front of his six-year-old daughter Canan, he imprisons the spirit in a box and throws it into the depths of the lake. Over the years, Canan tries to forget what happened and is now engaged to Semih, preparing for their wedding.
