In 1980s New York city, high school student Jamie Fonseca is desperately in love with local bad boy Nick Nieves, but her mom doesn't approve and her best friend warns her of the ongoing danger of being involved with his kind. When Jamie decides to follow her heart instead of wise advice, it seems to mark the beginning of their love affair, but Jamie then becomes submerged with all the mess that comes with loving Nick. It soon becomes clear that this young romance is anything but ordinary. Jamie's bond with Nick gets tested with dangerous situations that comes his way. How long can this love last?
