X-Men: Days of Future Past Ratings & Reviews
- parktool69December 1, 2024watched it on my birthdaty
- Pepe CheeriosApril 25, 2025A movie you'll keep coming back. 2025 movies don't hit as good as this one.
- keithy077August 30, 2025Raven limps, stadium relocation, Trask drinks and knows things.
- Danny Potter-JonesAugust 24, 2025It is a good film just not comic accurate Shadow cat is the one that time travels but because Wolverine is a bigger character in the live action universe it kinda fits. I felt a bit nostalgic with the older characters and little bit weaker than first class but some could consider it on par.
- M08Y2d agoEasily the best full X-Men movie we've had to date. Days of Future Past is one of those films that pretty much everyone looks back fondly on. Simpler times you could say. Days of future past acts as a really tastefully executed reboot. Managing to keep all the bits we liked while moving on from the more disastrous entries in the franchise (X3). Pretty much everything works here, all of the faces we've come to know and love are present and correct. Every single character is handed with respect even if some are left painfully underutilized. The time travel is well done and easy to follow, keeping consistent to it's own rules. The overall story is a simple one, but this gives us plenty of room just to watch our favorite characters work. The audio and visuals really are nothing to write home about. The 2K DI and non Dolby Atmos audio leaves the 4K bluray feeling redundant. The colours in this movie are simply not substantial enough to warrant buying the 4K over the 1080p Bluray. Some of the special effects were a little wonky at times, but nothing horrendous.
- Streetter6d agoMichael Fassbender, Hugh Jackman & James McAvoy are awesome. Everyone else just sucks
- Pascal BollierJanuary 13, 2026it's a spectacle alright. easily the best of the second wave x-men movies (not counting "logan"). well paced, good performances (hugh jackman remains the highlight of all of these movies), there is a lot of tension, you feel there is a lot at stake. the action is good, not over-the-top, which is saying something considering the whole stadium thing...lol. the sentinels felt really, really dangerous and are portrayed as formidable enemies. it a good exorcise to compare this with "apocalypse" to understand why this one works when the other is a complete disaster. highly recommended!
- flavo43November 29, 2025X-Men: Days of Future Past is one of the strongest entries in the franchise, bringing to life one of my favourite X-Men story arcs with ambition, heart, and impressive execution. Bryan Singer’s return to the director’s chair rejuvenates the series, proving it still had enormous potential after some uneven films. One of the film’s greatest strengths is uniting the original trilogy cast with their First Class counterparts, merging two eras of X-Men storytelling into a cohesive, high-stakes narrative. The result is a powerhouse ensemble that doubles the star power without ever feeling overcrowded. The time-travel plot is handled with clarity and emotional weight, allowing the story to stay focused while still delivering exhilarating action sequences, strong character moments, and a sense of urgency that propels the film forward. Wolverine’s role as the bridge between past and future works perfectly, and the Sentinels are genuinely terrifying. Overall, it’s a thrilling, thoughtful blockbuster—and a true return to form for the X-Men.
- GaladantienNovember 6, 2025Simply one of the best comic book films ever made. It's not only a great time. Its emotionally and thematically rich in a way the MCU has rarely come close to.
- vm267November 5, 2025One of my favorite scenes is when they broke magneto out of prison....
- Nathan MagretaFebruary 9, 2026Easily the most creative installment, days of future past combines the classic cast with the prequel cast in a fate-of-the-universe/Time travel superhero film done right.
- Spaceman JoeOctober 22, 2025It’s probably the best x-men movie. There are elements of First Class that I like better, but overall this is probably the better movie
- LalienXJanuary 25, 2026The best X-Men movie!
- SpooderxAugust 24, 2025It was phenomenal The acting was magnificent
- liamhastings508July 5, 2025Tbh I thought X men: first class was perfect the way they left it. But this movie really surprised me bringing the same feeling as first class and continuing the story in a logical and reasonable way
