- JeremiahMay 22, 2026This movie is weird for weird's sake in such good ways. I love Jack's portrayal of meek to mighty. I love spader's sniveling backstabbing ways. I love the superpower scenes. i love the soap opera character to character dynamics. Alot is corny and cheesy with animatronics and dummys and obvious wirework but its a vibe I'm there for. the scene where Jack is hearing everything through the office, I gotta imagine is just some strings or poles glued to the back of his ears and them shifting them around and that is just really great to think about. The movie leaves certain aspects of its story ambigious that is fun to think about, can't say what they are as both examples I can think of are spoilers. This flick was kinda panned critically but I find it a lot of fun.
